The constructed landscape is a 12,000 m² pocket park sited to the south of the overall residential tower development. This park is currently located to the south-east of the newly built elementary school and sits adjacent to the Senior Citizen building which is currently being used as the sales show room for the overall site. The design inspiration was based on the pomegranate flower which is a local flower of the region. By abstracting this flower the overall design evolution was created by Aspect studios.
The main seating and walls were to be covered in a mosaic of tiles within project color scheme. The main challenge for me on this site was trying to get the glass tiles to contour to the concrete formwork, while ensuring that overall design intent was carried throughout the construction process.
