This weekend the Garden Conservatory selected five private gardens that could be viewed by the public in the South Sound Area. I had to opportunity to visit Edgewood Garden with my mom and have walked away with the bar for design set very high. Ilga & Michael who own and created the garden were gracious to open the gates of their garden for those to stroll through. There are so many things to see and the selection of plant material is amazing. It was great to see some of the plants that have been used within the garden as I am looking to see what can grow in the area. If you ever have a chance to visit this garden I suggest that you have a few hours to spare so you can really take your time walking around all the various gardens that have been created. I look forward to seeing these gardens again in the future as they have really inspired me in regards to the design and gardens I wish to build at Skysong.
